Special Education Department

Mrs. Cronk graduated from Foxboro High School, class of 1971. She attended and graduated from Fitchburg State College with a B.S. in English, class of 1975. Mrs. Cronk, who has been at BRHS for 20 years, taught English and is now in Special Education.

Ms. Hossler grew up in Cumberland and graduated from Greely High in 1990. She went on to graduate from University of Maine at Farmington in 1994 with a degree in Special Education, and later received her MSEd from University of New England. This is Ms. Hossler's sixth year working as a behavior consultant in Union 49. Outside of school she enjoys riding dirt bikes, playing golf and sailing.

Mrs. Hodgdon graduated from Boothbay Region High School with the class of 1981. She attended Colby-Sawyer College and graduated in 1983, with an AS in Liberal Arts. Mrs. Hodgdon is an Ed. Tech ll, Special Education (13 yrs.).

Mrs. McLaughlin graduated from Cony High School in Augusta in 1959. She attended the University of Maine at Augusta and attended from the University of Maine at Farmington in 1977. Mrs. McLaughlin is an Ed. Tech lll, and can be found in the Resource Room. Previous to moving to Boothbay, she lived in Augusta and taught dancing. She lives on Sawyers Island with her husband, two Golden Retrievers (Abby and Nel) and her cat Meghan. She has been at the high school for (15 yrs.).

BS in Ed from Central Michigan University moved to Maine in 1990. Married with two children who attend BRES.

She has been a resident of Southport since 1974. Prior to that, she lived with her parents and three sisters in Concord, Mass. graduated from Concord Carlisle High School. She also spent a year at both Vermont College and Habitat School for the Environment.

After moving to Maine, she worked as a welder at Bath Iron Works and later as the Dietary Supervisor at St. Andrews Hospital for six years.

She has been active with the Boothbay Region YMCA, the Episcopal Church, and several town committees. She has two daughters in college. Her interests include most of the outdoor sports that Maine has to offer!

Pam has been a Ed Tech since 1992, beginning with two mornings a week at Mrs. Pinkham's Nursery School. Over the years this has enabled Pam to get to know many of students, staff, and faculty members all thru the school system.

Graduated from Cedar Crest College with a degree in elementary education and English. Is a credentialed teacher in NJ., PA, FL, IL, and CA with a master's program in Special Education. Has taught elementary education for 14 years and worked as a legal assistant for 4 years.
