Library

The Boothbay Region High School Library Media Center occupies the equivalent of three classrooms and adjoins the computer lab on the second floor. The library is open daily for students and teachers from 7:15 to 3:00, later if needed. The library uses the Winnebago Spectrum system for online catalog and circulation functions. The collection consists of over 10,000 items including books, periodicals, videos, and a substantial reference collection selected to meet the needs of the curriculum.

Ten computers are available with online connections for student use for research and word processing. Information literacy skills are taught in collaboration between classroom teachers and the librarian. One professional librarian and one library assistant (EdTech III) are responsible for providing library services and maintaining the collection.
