Mary Miller

  • Mrs. Miller lives in Boothbay Harbor, Maine and received her B.S. degree in vocal jazz and her Masters degree in choral conducting. She was a chaperone and traveled with the students to London, Italy, New York, Spain and Greece
  • Mrs. Miller teaches Drama I and II, Chorus, and Music History. Each year students can try out for the fall musical and the One Act Play Competition. The chorus and band hold concerts yearly, which are always a great hit. She also brings students and adults to theater performance in Portland and Boston every year



  • Meredith Duke

  • The Boothbay Region High School Band Program is taught by Meredith Duke, a graduate of the University of Southern Maine. Duke is the principal trombonist with the Mid Coast Symphony Orchestra, and the lead trombonist of Editatones Project, an all woman jazz band.


    Manon Iodice Lewis

    Manon Lewis, Art, B.S. (Florida International University)

  • Mrs. Lewis was born in Waltham, Mass., grew up in Miami, Florida, and spent her summers in a rustic, electricity-free cottage in New Harbor, Maine.
  • Mrs. Lewis is actively involved in the Maine Art Education Association, on its executive board. Each year she organizes a statewide student art exhibition in conjunction with the Portland Museum of Art and the Maine Art Education Assoc. in celebration of "Youth Art Month." She loves learning through travel and has chaperoned 8 student trips to various destinations in Europe. In the summer, Mrs. Lewis teaches a clay class to elementary age students at Great Explorations. She also works on her own art interests in the summer which includes sculpture, photography, as well as designing costumes and floats for parades!
  • Mrs. Lewis teaches Introductory Art, Intermediate/Advanced Art, Advanced Placement Studio Art, Metals and Jewelry, Handbuilding with Clay, and Printmaking.
  • Mrs. Lewis was chosen by the Maine Art Education Association as Maine Art Educator of the Year in 1999. She also received a Fulbright Memorial Fund Scholarship in 2006 and studied in Japan during the month of October.
